CustodyBinder was built because parents in custody and child welfare cases were already doing the work — keeping notebooks, taking photos, copying texts into Word documents, building physical binders — and they had no tool designed for the job.

The market is full of co-parenting apps that require both parents to participate. That's not what most of these cases are. Most of them are a single parent trying to document the other parent's behavior — or trying to defend themselves against false allegations — and needing structured, admissible records to do it.

We built a private case-building tool. One parent, their support team, their evidence. Designed for the way the legal system actually treats this kind of documentation. Built around the things that matter for chain of custody, court admissibility, and attorney workflow.
