- You must be 18+ to use CustodyBinder.
- You own your data. We have a limited license to store and process it to operate the Service.
- CustodyBinder is a documentation tool, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice.
- You are responsible for complying with recording consent laws in your state.
- Records are immutable by design — edits create amendments, never overwrites.
- Free and paid plans available. Cancel anytime.
- We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or upload prohibited content.
- Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for losses caused by Service unavailability or court outcomes.
What you cannot upload
- Content you do not have the right to record or possess
- Content that violates recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
- Child sexual abuse material
- Malware or content designed to harm our systems or other users
